* Requirements

1. Must be DOE Zero Energy Ready Home (ZERH) certified (or equivalent approved standard)
2. Must include on-site solar sized to offset 100% of design energy usage
3. May use RECs (Renewable Energy Certificates) to offset actual energy use

2. Net Zero Energy Verified

For buildings with proven Net Zero performance based on real-world operation.

* Requirements

1. Minimum of 24 months of utility bills
2. On-site renewable generation
3. Or green energy procurement (RECs or PPAs)
